Burton, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Burton earned his bachelor's degree from the Department of
Chemistry at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After
graduating with honors, he went on to receive his medical degree
from there as well. Dr. Burton served a general surgery
internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at Southern
Illinois University, Springfield. He is board certified by the
American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, a Fellow of
American College of Surgeons and member of Midwest Orthopedic
Specialists. Dr. Burton's clinical interests are bone & joint
disorders, sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, fractures,
joint replacements and spine & back injuries.
