Douglass
Freel, D.P.M.
Dr. Freel, a veteran
of the United States Navy, received his bachelor's
degree from Michigan State University. After completing
the four year medical program at the Illinois College of
Podiatric Medicine, he was accepted into a two-year
surgical associateship at McDonough District Hospital in
Macomb, Illinois. Dr. Freel went into private practice
by founding Freel Foot and Ankle Clinic. Later, his
interest and success with orthotics lead him to the
opening of Accuped, Inc. He is board certified and a
Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle
Orthopedics & Medicine and the American College of Foot
& Ankle Surgery. Dr. Freel's surgical specialty and
clinical interest is podiatry.
